Derived from the Sanskrit word for “vision,” IKSHA is your one-stop partner for career counselling, mentorship, study-abroad planning, and overseas education. We also support organisations with research services, including market analytics and regulatory/policy landscape mapping
Are you a high school student (9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade) feeling stuck on what to pursue for a career?
Are you a law student looking for professional guidance and mentorship to navigate law school successfully and build your career?
Are you a graduate or professional planning or thinking of overseas education or study abroad?
Are you an early-stage/mid-stage startup looking for policy evaluation and regulatory landscape mapping in India and overseas?
IKSHA grew out of the lived experiences, wins, setbacks, and countless trials of its founder, Ms. Preethi Gowda, a first-generation lawyer. While charting her own path through law school, internships, and highly competitive overseas applications, Preethi saw how an overload of information, options, and advice can quickly become overwhelming. She realised how crucial the right guidance and channeling at the right moments truly is.
She launched IKSHA to change that: to help high schoolers clarify goals, to mentor law students through the realities of law school and early careers, and to support graduates on their overseas education journeys. IKSHA reflects Preethi’s commitment to helping students, and especially first generation lawyers like herself, turn aspirations into actionable plans.
In her words:
“When I applied to top universities abroad, the hardest part wasn’t ambition; it was the absence of structured guidance on crafting applications and telling my story convincingly. It took months of research and outreach to mentors to piece it all together. Students today are overwhelmed by choice and information; the direction I wished I’d had is exactly what I aim to provide.”
Choosing a career can feel daunting. Asking the right questions and channeling them in the right direction turns uncertainty into momentum.
